Open Question: Need the artist and name of an old blues song. ?

The song sounds as if it is the first song of a live set. The chorus is sung and goes something like "but we're gonna have a good time tonight." The rest of the song is basically spoken word, on the topic of other blues players and music scenes which lead into the chorus, followed by a lick, and then another verse. Some of the things spoken of in the song is the Chicago blues scene, people from his life, he names countless blues artists. "Albert king...BB King, man he can really pull them strings." The artist is from Texas, i think, because before the solo at the end, he says with some authority "and were gonna have a good time tonight; MY NAME IS _______, an im from TEXAS" hope you can help me out, what an awesome song.... read more
